Weekly Recap Gov. Wolf extends Pa.’s public school closure indefinitely
Upper St. Clair had planned to remain closed until at least April 14, 2020. The district’s closure will now extend at least until the statewide closure expires. Read more


Five named speech & debate Academic All-Americans
Five Upper St. Clair High School students recently earned Academic All-American Awards from the National Speech & Debate Association. Seniors Vivek Babu, Basir Khan, Alex Lampe and Anusha Neupane as well as junior Maddie Nolen have been honored for their academic rigor, competitive speech and debate success, and personal excellence. Read more


7th graders place first in STEM Design Challenge
A team of four seventh graders from Fort Couch Middle School placed first in the 6-8 grade division at the regional STEM Design Challenge on March 3, 2020, at Duquesne University. Ryan Buonomo, Max Biedrzycki, Ben Seewald and Ryan Popp qualified to compete at the state-level competition. Read more

Community Day events canceled for May
Upper St. Clair Community Day – a 40-year springtime tradition – is the latest casualty to the COVID-19 virus. Upper St. Clair leaders have made the difficult decision to cancel the event, which was set for Saturday, May 16, 2020. Read more
