39 named November Boyce Pride winners
Thirty-nine Boyce Middle School students were recently honored with December Boyce Pride Awards, a monthly celebration of kindness, sponsored by the Boyce PTO.  Read more


PTC hosts district-wide food drive throughout February
The Upper St. Clair Parent Teacher Council is hosting a district-wide drive to benefit the families served by the South Hills Interfaith Movement throughout the month of February. This effort is a part of SHIM’s annual Sack Hunger community wide campaign. Collection boxes will be located within all six of the district’s schools.  Read more

2020-2021 Spanish-American Cultural Exchange
Upper St. Clair High School students have the opportunity to participate in a cultural exchange with our partner school in Spain. USCHS students will host students from Colegio Santa-Maria in October 2020, and complete the exchange by traveling to Spain to visit their exchange partners from June 7-24, 2021. An informational meeting will be in room 144 at the high school on Thursday, Feb. 20.  Read more


Kindergarten registration set for March & April
Kindergarten registration for incoming Upper St. Clair kindergarten students and their families will be held late-March and early-April at each of the district’s three elementary schools as follows:

  • Baker Elementary: Tuesday, March 24 and Thursday, April 2
  • Eisenhower Elementary: Wednesday, March 25 and Tuesday, March 31
  • Streams Elementary: Thursday, March 26 and Wednesday, April 1

Appointments, which last approximately 20 minutes, will be scheduled between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on each of the registration days. Online appointment scheduling will begin in February.  Read more


District launches new sub-program for non-certificated teachers
Second of two information sessions set for this Thursday, Jan. 23 

The Upper St. Clair School District is launching a new Extended Teacher Certification Program for non-educators who are interested in serving as substitute teachers. The program is aimed at those who hold a bachelor’s degree in any subject from an accredited college or university but do not have a Pennsylvania teaching certificate.  Read more
