Weekly Recap Two showings of “Screenagers” set for Feb. 18
The Upper St. Clair community has the opportunity to attend two screenings of the documentary, “SCREENAGERS: Growing Up in the Digital Age,” on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020. The 67-minute film will be shown at 10 a.m. at the McLaughlin Run Road Activity Center and at 7 p.m. at the Community & Recreation Center at Boyce Mayview Park.  Read more


Winter Blast for grades 5-6 set for Feb. 22
The Youth Steering Committee of Upper St. Clair is hosting its Winter Blast for students in grades five and six from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020, at the Community & Recreation Center at Boyce Mayview Park.  Read more

If you have previously submitted volunteer clearances to the school district, you may now request an email containing the information we currently have on file. To request an email, please click here. Clearances are valid for five years. If you need to renew your clearances, please click here and follow the steps. (Important note: If you did not provide an email address when initially submitting your clearances, you will be unable to request your information using our automated system. PTC hosts district-wide food drive throughout February
The Upper St. Clair Parent Teacher Council is hosting a district-wide drive to benefit the families served by the South Hills Interfaith Movement throughout the month of February. This effort is a part of SHIM’s annual Sack Hunger community wide campaign. Collection boxes will be located within all six of the district’s schools.  Read more

The February 2020 edition of the Counseling Newsletter is filled with lots of helpful information including scholarships, college and career information, eighth grade parent meeting, study skills, suicide prevention, technology and social media, and more.  Click here to read the February newsletter


Kindergarten registration set for March & April
Kindergarten registration for incoming Upper St. Clair kindergarten students and their families will be held late-March and early-April at each of the district’s three elementary schools as follows:

  • Baker Elementary: Tuesday, March 24 and Thursday, April 2
  • Eisenhower Elementary: Wednesday, March 25 and Tuesday, March 31
  • Streams Elementary: Thursday, March 26 and Wednesday, April 1

Appointments, which last approximately 20 minutes, will be scheduled between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on each of the registration days. Online appointment scheduling will begin in February.  Read more
