I have been a teacher in the district since January of 2000. I have taught Painting and Drawing, 3D Art, Ceramics, Art History, RE Computer Appications and IB Visual Arts.
I hold a BA Art History/Studio Arts, University of Pittsburgh and an MA Art Education from Carlow University.
In 2009 I was awarded a Fulbright/Hays Scholarship (Art & Society: Brazil/U.S. Educational Partnership) through the University of Pittsburgh Latin American Studies Department and the Andy Warhol Museum, where I spent five weeks in Brazil conducting research for lesson plans involving the art and architecture of Brazil.
I currently am a member of the Projekt 50/50 Art Collective, a group of artists who exhibit annually in Pittsburgh. I also sell handmade jewelry at local craft shows such as Handmade Arcade and I Made It! Markets, and my jewelry is currently sold at Wild Card Boutique in Lawrenceville.
