Care Solace
Upper St. Clair School District is committed to supporting the social and emotional health of our students and staff and their families. To better serve the school community, Upper St. Clair has partnered with Care Solace to help connect individuals with verified local mental health care providers and substance-use treatment centers when needed.
Care Solace has a Care Companion team that is available 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays, to help secure appointments within days, rather than weeks or months. Care Solace’s services are entirely free and optional for Upper St. Clair families.
Students, staff and families may access Care Solace services in two completely confidential ways:
-
Call (888) 515-0595 at any time. Support is available in 200+ languages. A dedicated Care Companion will help you every step of the way to research options, secure appointments, and follow up to make sure it is a good fit.
-
For an anonymous search, answer a few questions to get matched with an extensive list of care providers at caresolace.com/site/upperstclair.
With parental consent, a school counselor can also complete a direct referral to Care Solace for a student.
Please note that Care Solace is not an emergency response service or mental health services provider. In the event of a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline 988.
Should you have any questions about Care Solace, please reach out to your child’s school counselor or to Dr. Lauren Madia, director of pupil services, at lmadia@uscsd.k12.pa.us.
