2015-2020 Strategic Plan Goal: Examine and prioritize safety and security needs for the district’s physical plants.

Key Progress:

• Beginning in the fall 2018, each school is staffed with a full-time School Police Officer
• Captured entrances
• Raptor system for visitors
• Upgraded PA system and amber lights (for high noise areas)
• Go-Kit bags available for teachers
• Multiple “Panic Buttons” at each school
• 200+ security cameras on schools and buses that are accessible by Upper St. Clair Township Police and Fire Department
• 911 notification system
• FirstNet cellular network
