Sesame Flour Update

Sesame alert

Nickles Bakery and Rich's Corporation -- two of the companies that provide some of the district's bread, bun, and pizza dough products -- have had some changes to their recipes to exclude sesame flour. This change has greatly reduced the impact to bread products served at all buildings in the district.

At this time, the only BREAD items that contain sesame are the hoagie buns and the pretzel buns. Items that are now SAFE from sesame are Pullman Bread Loaf, hamburger buns, hot dog buns, Rich's Pizza Dough, Big Daddy's Pizza, & Mm Mm Pizza. Some main entrees may contain sauces with sesame, but signs will identify the allergy and our Point-of-Sale system will not allow the sale if a student has this allergen noted on their account.
