Seniors named Outstanding Young Citizens

Nine Upper St. Clair High School seniors were recently selected as 2025 Outstanding Young Citizens by Trib Total Media.
Richard Crawford, Kriti Gupta, Annabelle Kirk, Kesahi Mathanachandran, Grace Myers, Opal Miller, Shriya Narasimhan, Zoe Roberts and Darcy Vilkner are among the 107 students from schools throughout the region honored in this year’s program.
The Outstanding Young Citizens program recognizes high school juniors and seniors who demonstrate exemplary character and leadership, dedication to community service, and outstanding academic achievement. Students from 110 area public and private high schools are eligible to be nominated.
Nominations can be made by family, friends, school officials, teachers, and members of the community. This year’s nomination deadline was Feb. 9, 2025. An independent panel of judges reviewed information submitted by the nominees and selected the Outstanding Young Citizens and Top 10 Gold Medalists.
