The Penguins' recognition program highlights local nurses and their dedication to their respective communities. Holly and her nursing colleagues each received two game tickets, new shoes as well as a prize bundle. In addition, they were recognized on the ice and had the opportunity to ride the Zamboni during the game.

As nursing curriculum leader, Holly oversees nursing services at the district’s six schools as well as private schools within the township. She helps promote healthy living by chairing the district-wide Wellness Committee. Based at Baker Elementary, Holly helps lead the school’s Kids of Steel program.

Four of the eight Nurse Appreciation Night honorees are school nurses who represent the Upper St. Clair, Bethel Park, Quaker Valley and Blackhawk school districts.
