Schools to Watch Celebrations
Boyce and Fort Couch middle schools celebrated being redesignated 2026 Schools to Watch on Monday, May 18, 2026. Each school hosted an all-school assembly, where Bruce Vosburgh, Pennsylvania STW director, presented the official School to Watch banners.
The Schools to Watch program honors middle schools that demonstrate academic excellence, responsiveness to students’ needs, social equity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Boyce and Fort Couch middle schools were first recognized as Schools to Watch in 2008 and have continued to earn redesignation every three years — in 2011, 2014, 2017, 2020, 2023 and now 2026. This continued recognition reflects the dedication of our students, staff, families and community to creating exceptional middle school experiences for every learner.
