USC Honors 24 Retirees with 546 Years of Combined Service

The Upper St. Clair School District proudly recognized 24 retiring faculty and staff members during its annual end-of-year retiree celebration on June 8, 2026, at Upper St. Clair High School.

Together, the retirees represent an extraordinary 546 years of service to the Upper St. Clair community, leaving a lasting impact on generations of students, families and colleagues.

In his remarks, Dr. John Rozzo, superintendent of schools, reflected on the significance of the occasion and the contributions of those being honored.

“Positions can be filled, but people cannot be replaced,” Dr. Rozzo said. “We’re losing a lot of really great people this year. You’ve made a positive difference in our schools and in our district, and we thank you for your service.”
 

Throughout their careers, these dedicated professionals have served in a variety of roles—from teachers, principals and paraprofessionals to secretaries, custodians, bus drivers and maintenance staff. Collectively, they have helped shape the educational experience and daily operations of the district while supporting thousands of students along the way.

On behalf of the Upper St. Clair School District, thank you for your years of dedication, service and commitment to students. Your contributions have helped make Upper St. Clair a special place to learn and grow, and your legacy will continue to be felt for years to come.

Congratulations on your retirement, and best wishes in this exciting new chapter.
