Fall Pep Rally

Pep Rally Sparks Excitement for Homecoming & U-THON

Upper St. Clair High School celebrated its fall sports teams with a spirited pep rally on Friday, Sept. 19, 2025.

The event included performances by the marching band, cheerleaders and dance team. Adding to the fun, Student Council hosted a pool noodle battle, where participants tried to knock cups off their opponents’ noodles. The final showdown came down to seniors Natalia DiSora and Nico D’Orazio, with Natalia taking the victory.

Students also got their first look at this year’s Homecoming theme – Viva St. Clair. The Homecoming football game will take place Friday, Oct. 3, followed by the dance on Saturday, Oct. 4. Spirit Week will include themed days such as Pajama Day, Twinning Day, Groutfit Day, Jersey & Jorts Day, and USC Day.

The rally also unveiled the date for the school’s highly anticipated U-THON – Friday, April 17, 2026. U-THON is a student-led fundraiser benefiting UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Since its launch in 2017, the event has raised more than $155,000, including $38,467.42 at last year’s post-pandemic return. Previous totals were $17,531 in 2017, $41,098 in 2018, and $58,477 in 2019.
