Decision Day

Upper St. Clair High School seniors proudly celebrated Decision Day on Friday, May 9, 2025. Students shared their post-graduation plans by sporting T-shirts and sweatshirts from colleges and universities, both large and small, from throughout the country.

Originally planned for May 1, the event was postponed due to last week’s storm-related school closure.

Students gathered to take photos with classmates and enjoyed donuts from the Sinkers & Suds food truck. The celebration was coordinated by the student activities office, led by Brooke Tarcson.

The Class of 2025 will graduate on Thursday, June 5, in a ceremony at the high school stadium. Decision Day marks the beginning of a monthlong series of senior events leading up to commencement. Highlights include:

  • Tuesday, May 13: Cap and gown distribution, senior parade at elementary schools
  • Wednesday, May 14: Senior meeting
  • Thursday, May 22: Senior banquet
  • Thursday–Friday, May 29–30: Pickleball tournament
  • Friday, May 30: Seniors’ last day of school
