Seniors celebrate Decision Day

Upper St. Clair High School seniors proudly shared their post-graduation plans on Decision Day – Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Students sported T-shirts and sweatshirts from colleges and universities, both large and small, from throughout the country.

Following a class photo in the stadium, students took photos with their classmates and enjoyed donuts from the Sinkers & Suds food truck. The athletic circle was transformed into an outdoor space – complete with seating, music and cornhole games. The event was organized by the student activities office, led by Brooke Tarcson.

Upper St. Clair High School Class of 2024 will graduate on Thursday, June 6, 2024, in the high school stadium. Today’s event kicked off a month-long celebration for seniors.

Traditionally, May 1 is National Decision Day, the deadline for high school seniors to formally select which college or university to attend. Due to issues with the new FAFSA form, many colleges extended the deadline.
