USC awards 322 diplomas to the Class of 2024
Upper St. Clair High School celebrated the 322 members of the Class of 2024 during commencement ceremonies on Thursday, June 6, 2024, in the high school’s stadium.

Dr. Timothy Wagner, principal, praised the Class of 2024 for its ability to unite in times of happiness and difficulty.
“Whether the next step for you is crystal clear or perhaps still coming into focus, and whether your next step is education, employment, enlistment, entrepreneurship, or something unique to your own life, I am confident that your highly developed determination, mixed with the strong character that you have shared with this community, will create a path for you in our greater world that will bring you both satisfaction and joy,” Dr. Wagner said.
In his remarks, Dr. John Rozzo, superintendent of schools, reminded the Class of 2024 of the significance of being present and appreciating each moment.
“As you stand on the cusp of a new adventure, remember that the future will come in its own time. There will be new challenges to face, new goals to achieve, and new dreams to pursue,” Dr. Rozzo said. “But tonight, please set all of that aside. Tonight is about celebrating you—your hard work, and your successes. As you move forward, embrace each moment. Remember it is in these moments – both big and small – that life actually happens.”
