Rush event promotes high school clubs & activities
Upper St. Clair High School students recently had the opportunity to explore and sign-up for clubs and activities during the school’s annual Rush event. Held on Friday, Sept. 17 in the stadium, the event promotes the school’s 75+ student clubs and activities and, most importantly, helps students meet new friends, discover new interests and acclimate to the high school.
Rush is one of the many initiatives sponsored by Student Council. This year’s event was led by senior Tori Slagle, Student Council vice-president.
If a student does not find a club that piques their interest, then he or she is free to create a new club. Visit the Activities Office or email Mrs. Brooke Tarcson, activities coordinator, at btarcson@uscsd.k12.pa.us for information about the process.
