Madrigal Dinner performed online

The 25th annual Madrigal Dinner was held virtually on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020. Members of the Chanteclairs performed musical selections along with a clever skit. “Attendees” enjoyed a catered dinner in the comfort of their own homes while watching the performance streamed online.

Upper St. Clair’s Madrigal Dinner was first introduced in 1996, under the direction of Christine Hestwood. Originally, the event was held in the high school cafeteria. For the past several years, the event has been hosted in the social hall at the Westminster Presbyterian Church with sellout crowds of nearly 200 guests.  This year, the event will be streamed online.

The Chanteclairs, under the direction of Lorraine Milovac, is an auditioned ensemble selected from within the Pantheon Choir. In addition to the Madrigal Dinner, the Chanteclairs have participated in community events including Veterans Day, Upper St. Clair Hall of Fame Induction, holiday performances, competitions, invitationals as well as high school choral concerts throughout the school year.
