Class of 2026 Returns to Elementary Schools for Senior Parade
Members of the Upper St. Clair High School Class of 2026 returned to where their educational journeys began during the district’s annual Senior Parade on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Now in its third year, the tradition invites graduating seniors to revisit their elementary schools – Baker, Eisenhower and Streams – and celebrate the full-circle moment before commencement. Sixth Grader’s Holocaust Tribute Poem Wins Regional Award
A Boyce Middle School student earned top honors in the middle school poetry category of the 41st annual Waldman Arts & Writing Competition, sponsored by the Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh. Sixth grader Ishanvi Kuppili was recognized for her original poem, “A Melancholic Journey.” Read more
Baker’s Sensory Garden Continues to Bloom
What started as a simple idea has blossomed into a vibrant sensory garden that now brings moments of curiosity, calm and connection to students at Baker Elementary School. Led by Dr. Julie Stringe, special education teacher, the sensory garden is a special outdoor space designed to engage the senses in a peaceful atmosphere. Located along a frequently used walkway outside the building, students naturally stop to explore and interact with it throughout the day. Read more
Junior Earns Top Honors at WVU Math Competition
Upper St. Clair High School junior Yuwen Xiang earned first prize in the grade 10-12 division of the 2026 Junior Math Competition held May 2, 2026, at West Virginia University. Now in its fifth year, the competition welcomed students in grades 7-12 from across the region who share a passion for mathematics. Participants completed a rigorous two-hour written exam featuring challenging problems aligned with standard mathematics curriculum topics. Read more
2026-27 Middle School Robotics Sign-Ups
The FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Challenge program – Upper St. Clair’s competitive robotics for students in grades 5 through 8 – is currently planning teams for the 2026-27 school year. Red Carpet Event Set for June 2
Upper St. Clair High School’s senior prom will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Oakland. Before the prom begins, the community is invited to celebrate the Class of 2026 during the annual Red Carpet event from 4:15-4:45 p.m. on the high school campus. The Red Carpet provides family and friends an opportunity to cheer on seniors and capture photos as students arrive in formal attire. Read more
Class of 2026 Graduation Set for June 4
The 297 members of the Upper St. Clair High School Class of 2026 will celebrate graduation on Thursday, June 4, 2026. Baccalaureate, for graduating seniors only, will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the high school theater. The Commencement Ceremony will follow at 7 p.m. in the stadium. A live stream of commencement will be available at uscsd.tv for those unable to attend in person. Read more
Kennywood Day set for June 11 – purchase tickets online
The annual Upper St. Clair School District Kennywood Day is scheduled for Thursday, June 11, 2026. Discounted tickets must be purchased online at www.kennywood.com/schools. Tickets purchased online using the promo code (usc) are $32.99 each, if purchased by May 18. There is no limit on the number of tickets that can be purchased. Kennywood opens on weekends beginning Saturday, April 18 and daily beginning Friday, May 22. Read more
