Register to be in the Parade

Greetings Earthlings!

We would love for our whole community to have a part in USC Community Day. One great way is to march in the parade!

All Township and School District groups, organizations, clubs, and sports teams, as well as local music and dance groups, are invited to participate in the parade. 

• Parade start time: 11:30 a.m.
• Groups participating in the parade will be asked to arrive at 10:45 a.m. to line up (Upper parking lot of USCHS)
• We anticipate the parade being over by 12 p.m. (noon).  

The deadline for submitting a parade registration form is Wednesday, May 6, 2026. There is no charge to participate in the parade.

Your group may walk, drive, or even build a float. We encourage dance and music groups to perform along the parade route. Upper St. Clair Public Access Television will be set up along McLaughlin Run Road; groups should be sure to perform in that area as well.

Register for the Fun Run/Walk

• The USC Community Foundation has generously granted FREE registration (includes t-shirt) to the first 150 community members that sign up!
• $15 to participate and receive a t-shirt

• 8:30 a.m.:  Arrival/check-in
• 9 a.m.:  Run/walk begins
• 10 a.m. Community Day Opening Ceremony also at the stadium!

Where: Upper St. Clair High School Stadium (Truxton Drive entrance)

The USC Community Day Fun Run/Walk is an untimed, walk or run event. There are two routes to choose from at this event. Strollers are allowed on either route.

Plan on staying at the stadium afterwards for games, music, and watching the official opening ceremony of Community Day!

The Toddler Trot is a fun tradition that takes place during USC Community Day. This event is run by USCHS Freshmen Student Council.

*New this year - the Toddler Trot moves to the morning with the Community Fun Run!  

• Ages:  12 months to 4 years old
• Time:  9:30 - 10 a.m.
• Location:  USCHS Stadium Turf
• Registration Deadline: May 14
• Cost: FREE (Yeehaw!!!)

Rules

• Must be USC resident
• Owners must provide proof of up-to-date shot records upon entry.
• Pets must be leashed.
• You can register at the event.

Bake-Off Registration

• Bakers must be residents of USC Township
• Cakes will be judged ONLY on creativity and design, not taste--but cannot include any plastic parts.

This annual Duck Race is a major fundraiser for the Community Foundation of Upper St. Clair. Adopt a duck for the chance to win several prizes (view the list of prizes on the community foundation's website.

• Purchase an adopt-a-duck certificate at the Community Foundation of USC's booth during Community Day. 
• A pre-sale mail order form for those who cannot attend Community Day will be posted on the foundation's website after April 1, 2026.
