Physical Education is required of all students in grades 9 through 11. Classes meet regularly for four modules, every week. Activities, are constructed to meet the students' interrelated developmental needs including physical, mental, emotional and social. The ability to participate with others in various games and sports promotes cooperation, respect for individuals and groups, initiative and a feeling of personal worth. All of these objectives are achieved through a varied program of physical activities, which include individual activities, team sports and dual sports.

Every student is required to complete a one-semester course in health education during his/her freshman year in high school. The course is structured to help students form wholesome health habits and attitudes based on scientific knowledge of health and related topics.
