Biography
It is not easy to admit in these parts, but I grew up through the tunnel and over the bridge where I attended North Allegheny. My college education took me to the University of Pittsburgh where I graduated with a BS in Chemistry in 2010. I also completed my Masters in Teaching for Secondary Science in the spring of 2011. While at Pitt I was a student manager for the women's volleyball team and also played for the Pitt Men's Club Volleyball team. Following graduation, I taught as a long-term substitute at both North Allegheny and Upper St. Clair in chemistry. I also continue to teach both Chemistry for the Health Related Professions and Organic Chemistry laboratory courses as a part-time faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh. Finally, although it is for the enemy, I also coach girls' volleyball for North Allegheny.
