Welcome to First Grade!
I am so excited to begin this journey with you and your child. First grade is a time of learning, growing, developing curiosity, and gaining independence and confidence. During the first week of school, your child created a hope or dream that he or she hoped to accomplish this year. My dream is to create a learning environment in which each child feels respected, engaged, valued, challenged, and comfortable taking academic risks.
