    Welcome to first grade! I hope you find this website to be a helpful tool in communicating to you about what is happening in our classroom. First grade is such an important part of your child's educational career. Therefore, I am extremely delighted to be a part of your child's first grade learning adventure!
     
    Each day, we practice being respectful and responsible students. We really enjoy talking about our similarities and our differences! These two components make our classroom very special to us.
     
    This year, we will be exploring so many wonderful subjects. The students will read and enjoy many wonderful books, write responses to these books , listen and recite poems, spell, add, subtract, observe, experiment, and so much more! My goal is to make sure that each child is enjoying his/her learning experience; and that he/she feels comfortable in our learning environment.
