I have been a teacher in the district since January of 2000, starting at the High School with a brief two year stint in the minors at Baker Elementary and back up to the High School.

I hold a BA in Art History/Studio Arts from the University of Pittsburgh and an MA in Art Education from Carlow University.

In 2009 I was awarded a Fulbright/Hays Scholarship (Art & Society: Brazil/U.S. Educational Partnership) through the University of Pittsburgh Latin American Studies Department and the Andy Warhol Museum, where I spent five weeks in Brazil conducting research for lesson plans involving the art and architecture of Brazil.

In the summer of 2018 I traveled with the group Classrooms Without Borders trip on their Discovering Spain: An Axis of Faiths, Cultures and Empires program.

My current schedule includes IB Visual Arts (11, 12 SL and 12 HL), AP Visual Art 2D, Intro to 2D Art, 2D Studio and Intro to Sculpture.

I'm the proud human to two great rescue dogs, Dondi and Beanie.
