    Welcome, Guest, to Mr. Shefler's Webpage!!!!! I went to the University of Pittsburgh for my undergraduate degrees in both Mathematics and English Writing, and I went to the University of California, Berkeley for my Masters and Credential in Mathematics Education.  I taught two years at Berkeley High School, and I have been teaching at Upper St Clair since 2001.  It is my philosophy that mathematics is the foundation of all thought in the physical world, and that it is in its inherent abstract nature that we can come to grasp the complexity of the real world.
