PITTSBURGH TECHNICAL INSTITUTE Associate's Degree - Computer Aided Drafting CALIFORNIA UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA Bachelor's of Science - Technology Education
Mr. Williams
I found my way into my teaching career after several years of work experience in the world of architecture. I started post-secondary education by graduating from Pittsburgh Technical Institute with an Associate's degree in Computer Aided Drafting. After working for architecture firms in Cleveland and Pittsburgh, I found that I wanted to pursue a career in education. I graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Technology Education degree and have taught various engineering, robotics, and computer courses at another school district before accepting a position here at Upper St. Clair High School in 2019.
I currently teach the Introduction to Engineering rotation of the Technology Now & Tomorrow class, Intermediate Engineering class, and Home Repair and Maintenance class.
I am married with three beautiful girls and consider myself an avid outdoor enthusiast. Mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, hiking, and archery hunting are things that I enjoy doing throughout the year. I’ve often been referred to as a ‘renaissance man’ as I have accumulated a number of skills and interests throughout my personal and professional careers. Being a cultured, well dressed, and well groomed gentleman, as well as a sportsman, traveler, explorer, inventor, entrepreneur, and stoic free-thinker support the application of this title.
