USC Robotics Club consisted of TWO high school students who met once a week after school and tinkered with VEX IQ kits
USC High School started connecting with local robotics families: Parmar, Nulwala, and Hyatt
The first USC Robotics competitive season at the high school
High school FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams BotsBurgh & TeraBridges combined their home teams into the club
High school FTC team USC Dynamics was formed
Middle school after-school Robotics Club started at Boyce and Fort Couch with use of the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Challenge platform
High school FTC team ROGO (all girl team) was formed
USC FTC teams went from one female on a high school team the previous season to 14 females spread across four teams
Increased the capacity for middle school after-school robotics
First USC Robotics FLL & FTC team to make it to states
Middle school FLL went from one hour after school a week to weekday, evening, and weekend commitments - 8 teams thanks to Mr. Matt Wilson joining the club leadership
Non-competitive robotics opportunities at middle and high school grew
Addition of a second all-girls high school FTC team (5 teams total)
Addition of three more middle school FLL teams (11 teams total)
Addition of FIRST LEGO League Explore program at each elementary school accommodating 144 3rd & 4th grade students
Three FLL teams and three FTC teams made it to the state championship
One FLL team was invited to a national competition
One FTC team qualified for the international championship
5 FTC high school teams
16 FLL Challenge middle school teams
12 FLL Explore teams at each elementary school
Creation of the USC Robotics Boosters
