Homebound Instruction

Students who are unable to attend school due to temporary illness or other urgent reasons may be able to receive homebound instruction during their absence.

The purpose of homebound instruction is to keep students on track academically while temporarily unable to attend school.

The school district will provide homebound instruction services up to five hours per week (1 hour per school day) when students will be absent for at least 10 school days. A form is required to be completed and signed by the student's treating physician or psychiatrist.
