Middle Years Program (MYP)

In the late 1990s, Upper St Clair School District began to investigate and implement the International Baccalaureate Organization’s (IBO) Middle Years Program (MYP) with IBO program authorization received in the 2002-03 school year. This program is designed for students in the 11 to 16 year-old range. Since fifth grade is the beginning of the middle school program in the Upper St. Clair School District, the District’s MYP serves students ages 10 to 16. The Middle Years Program (MYP) is one of three IBO programs offered by Upper St. Clair School District.
