Four selected for All-State Choir

PMEA Region Choir Four Upper St. Clair High School students were selected through competitive audition to participate in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association All-State Choir. Carly DeCock, Ben Nadler, Cara Ravasio and Mariya Savinov will travel to Hershey March 30 – April 2, 2016.

PMEA All-State selections were made during the recent PMEA Region Chorus March 16 – 18 at Western Beaver High School. J.D. Frizzel, director of fine arts and director of vocal music at Briarcrest Christian School in Memphis, served as the guest conductor.

Eleven Upper St. Clair High School students participated in the PMEA Region Chorus event including Chase Banton, Carly DeCock, Jonah Glunt, Ben Nadler, Zoe Rankin, Cara Ravasio, Alexa Rieger, Jacob Ross, Mariya Savinov, Jack Smith and Kyle Warmbein. All of the students are active members of the high school’s choral program, which is directed by Lorraine Milovac.
