Andrew Wheeler selected for KDKA Extra Effort Award
Upper St. Clair High School senior Andrew Wheeler was recently selected as an Extra Effort Award recipient by KDKA-TV and the Allegheny Health Network. The award recognizes students who excel in the classroom as well as in athletics and in the community.
Andrew is a standout athlete on the Upper St. Clair basketball and baseball teams.
On March 16, KDKA-TV’s Bob Pompeani and Allegheny Health Network presented Andrew with a plaque and a $200 donation to the high school during a pep rally.
