• Leads from the High School Spring Musical Cast Perform for USC Senior Citizens

Opening night for the 2016 USC High School musical production White Christmas was Friday, March 4, and will be presented to the general public for two consecutive weekends on March 4-6 and 10-13 in the High School Theatre.

The romantic musical comedy was made famous by Bing Crosby and the 1954 Paramount Pictures film with music and lyrics written by Irving Berlin.

Select members of the cast took some time off on Wednesday, March 2 to perform for the United Senior Citizens program, sponsored by the Township of Upper St. Clair Department of Recreation and Leisure Services, at the McLaughlin Run Recreation Center.

Conducted and accompanied by USC High School Choral Director Ms. Lorraine Milovac, the leads shared many of the songs from the show: “Happy Holidays/Let Yourself Go,” “Sisters,” “Snow,” “Let Me Sing and I’m Happy,” “Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep,” “Blue Skies,” and of course, “White Christmas!”

Tickets are still available for every performance. The box office opens one hour prior to the opening curtain. For more information, please call 412-851-2060 (Music Activity Hotline) or visit www.usctheater.org.
