Japan-America Society of Pennsylvania Visits Streams Elementary School
Second graders from Streams Elementary school enjoyed a visit by the Japan-America Society of Pennsylvania.
After studying the culture, the students had an opportunity to experience life as a child living in Japan.
Established in 1986, the Japan-America Society of Pennsylvania (JASP) is an association of individuals, corporations and organizations in the state and its surrounding regions with the purpose of promoting appreciation and enlightening relations between the United States and Japan.
The Society provides informative, innovative programming in order to encourage a better understanding of the business, cultural, social, educational and political practices and customs of Japan and the United States.
