Fort Couch Middle School Students Show Off Their Knowledge in National Geography Bee
Fort Couch Middle School students participated in the National Geographic Bee on Thursday, December 17. The top scoring students in the competition were Jason Choi, Richa Mahajan, and Ben Pribanic.
Our congratulations and BRAVOS go to all students who participated, with special commendation to Ben Pribanic for winning the school level competition. Ben will go on to take a written qualifying exam in
February, which will determine if he continues on to the state level competition on April 1.
GeoBee is sponsored by the National Geographic Society, one of the largest nonprofit scientific and educational institutions in the world with interests including geography, archaeology and natural science, and the promotion of environmental and historical conservation. The contest is designed to motivate students to learn about the world and how it works.
