Computer Programming is Introduced to Streams Elementary School Students

The first week in the New Year, all students at Streams Elementary in grades 1-4 participated in “The Hour of Code,” an introduction to computer programming featuring characters from Star Wars.

The experience, facilitated by Streams teachers Ms. Bernice Andrews, Ms. Stephanie Kellner, and Ms. Mary Quinn, allowed students to work through a self-paced tutorial to learn the basics of coding.
