USC High School Girls’ Soccer Team Awarded MaxPreps “Tour of Champions” Award
The Upper St. Clair High School Varsity Girls’ Soccer Team was selected as an honoree for the 5th Annual MaxPreps Girls Soccer “Tour of Champions” presented by the Army National Guard.
Upper St. Clair High School was recognized as having “one of the best soccer teams in the country” by a presentation of the Army National Guard National Ranking Trophy. This honor was presented at the Boys’ Varsity Basketball home game on January 12.
Of the more than 10,000 high schools that field varsity girls’ soccer teams, only 10 are being recognizedacross the United States on the 2015-16 MaxPreps Tour of Champions.
According to MaxPreps, an American source for sports rankings, stat leaderboards, schedules and scores of high school teams and players across the county, the USCHS Girls Soccer Team finished as the 33rd ranked team across the country.
The Girls’ Soccer team is coached by Dave Gray - Head Coach, Alex Jaffe - Assistant Coach, Sharon Sumanski - Assistant Coach, Mike Gray- Assistant Coach, and Greg Wagner - Assistant Coach.
