• USC Volleyball Star “Spikes” Several State and National Recognitions

    Samantha Amos recently earned several prestigious awards, including the American Volleyball Coaches Association “All American” and the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League’s MVP (Player of the Year). In addition, she has been awarded “All State” all four years of high school!
     
    Sami has been designated the “#1 Right-Side Hitter in the Country” in her class. According to http://www.volleyballu.com, “the right side hitter is responsible for being a threat offensively as well as defensively. She should be able to step in and help out in the case of the setter taking the first ball. She should also be able to block the opponent’s primary hitter, the opposing outside hitter.”
     
    Also of special merit, in her sophomore year, the USC Panther volleyball super-star accepted a full scholarship samos to Duke.
