Grades 6-9 Boys Participate in 2015 Mucho Macho Music Festival
Students from grades 6 - 9 participated in the American Choral Directors Association Men’s Music Ensemble, traditionally called the “Mucho Macho Music Festival,” on November 3rd at the McKeesport High School.
Hosted by McKeesport High School choral director Ms. Beth Eger, and under the direction of Dr. Samuel Barbara, the men participated with 100 other students from other western Pennsylvania districts. The guest conductor for the day was Dr. Samuel Barber, director of choral studies at Westminster University. The Westminster Men’s glee club sang with the boys and performed for attendees at the end of the day.
Congratulations to all students and their directors: Ms. Lorraine Milovac, USCHS Choir Director; Mr. Thomas Hunsberger, Fort Couch Middle School Choir Director; and Ms. Jennifer Schetley, Boyce Middle School Choir Director.
