• High School Singers Participate in PMEA Honors Choir

    The 2015 Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 1 Honors Choir Festival was held on Friday and Saturday, October 30-31, at Seton Hill University. A culminating festival performance of the ensemble was presented on October 31 at 2:00 p.m. in the Reichgut Concert Hall, Performing Arts Center, Seton Hill University.

    PMEA Honors Choir is open to all singers in grades 9-12. In 2015, Honors Choir changed to an application-based non-competitive festival requiring teacher recommendation. The eight singers are all members of the USCHS choral department and students of Ms. Lorraine Milovac.
     
    The next major choral festival event is the PMEA District 1 Senior High Chorus Festival, auditions to beHonorsChoir110315 held at Belle Vernon HS on November 23.
