Let me tell you a little about myself. I grew up in Akron, Ohio, where my parents still reside. I attended the University of Dayton formy undergraduate degree in Secondary Education in Mathematics and Chemistry. After I graduated, I taught both math and chemistry for four years at a small high school in Akron, Archbishop Hoban High School. While I was there, I coached the cheerleading team and helped with the student council. I moved to Pittsburgh in 2003 and started teaching at Mt. Lebanon High school. Although I started as a chemistry teacher, I moved into teaching Earth Science and Environmental Science as well!My husband is also a science teacher, and our four children LOVE science! We spend a lot of time in the summer hiking and biking together, and exploring the world around us!Colton (age 11) Clare (age 9), Lily (age 7) and Emily (age 4)
