    BOOKING THE CALLER

Booking the square dance caller is an important step in preparing for this event.  Arrangements should be made as soon as possible to secure a reservation.  A frequent guest has been Sharon Kopp.  Sharon’s number is 724.266.3232 and her email is sharon.kopp@yahoo.com.   Fees have been $60 for 60 minutes.  The only equipment needed was one table set up in front of the stage with an electrical outlet nearby.

    INVITATION/RSVP FLYER

Invitations/RSVPs should go out 4 weeks before the event and should be due 2 weeks before the social.  This will allow enough time for ordering sufficient amounts of favors and treats.  A sample Third Grade Social Invitation/RSVP is included in the folder within the “Third Grade Social” bin in the PTO Closet.  E-Alerts should be used as reminders.

    TREATS AND FAVORS

The treat table can be done in a “buffet” format.

    Treat ideas:

Philly Pretzel Co. platter- “Rivets and Horseshoes”, donated popcorn from Carmike 10, Twizzlers-“ropes”, Lemonade

The final photo booth pictures were sent home as a favor.

    Additional Comments:
