BOOKING THE MAGICIAN
Booking the magician is the most important step in preparing for this event. Arrangements should be made as soon as possible to secure a reservation. Al-mazing the Magician was an excellent choice for magician (412-600-4903 or www.almazing.com). He kept the kids engaged and entertained. Weird Eric was used several years ago too -- (412.867.5701 or contact @weirderic.com) have performed shows in the past. Feedback is Eric was funny, but chattiness lost kids’ attention.
INVITATION/RSVP FLYER
Invitations/RSVPs should go out 4 weeks before the event and should be due 2 weeks before the social. This will allow enough time for ordering sufficient amounts of treats. Sample Kindergarten Social Invitation/RSVP can be found in the “Kindergarten Social” bin in the PTO closet. E-Alerts should be used as reminders.
