• Seventeen High School FBLA Students Win Medals, Eleven Move on to National Competition

    Seventeen Upper St. Clair High School students were named medal winners at the Pennsylvania Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Leadership Conference in Hershey, PA, on April 13-15.

    Eleven of the medal winners finished in the “top three” of their event, qualifying themselves for nationals. The following national qualifiers were recognized:
    • Management Decision Making: Chris Adamo, Rishabh Kewalramani, Geet Punjabi
    • E-Business: Kevin Monpara, Brian Tsui
    • Sports and Entertainment Management: Anthony Abinanti, Lauren Schoeppner, Jess Sourbeer
    • Marketing: Arushi Kewalramani, Macey Kaplan, Vicki Wang
    • Business Plan: Zach Barone and Sam Schiffman

    Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) educational association of student members preparing for careers in business or who are just simply interested in learning more about the free enterprise system. FBLA helps students develop leadership abilities, and prepare for entry into, and advancement within, a business or business-related occupation.

    Mr. Sean O’Rourke is the sponsor of the USCHS chapter of FBLA.
