• Speech and Debate Students Recognized at District Awards Ceremony

    USC High School students performed magnificently at the recent qualifiers for the 2015 National Speech and Debate Tournament to be held in Dallas, Texas on June 14 through 19. Students from 110 districts from across the country will compete for college scholarships in 11 main events.

    The speech and debate competitors were recently recognized for their season’s accomplishments at the District awards ceremony held at The Chadwick in Wexford, PA, on April 18.

    Four students from Upper St. Clair will attend the National Speech and Debate Tournament, including Chase Miller in US Extemporaneous Speech, Sriparna Sen in Humorous Interpretation, and the team of Brian Kaplan and Hunter Lantzman in Public Forum Debate.speechanddebate2015
