Name: Corey LangleyEmail: firstname.lastname@example.orgSubjects: College in High School StatisticsOne of my favorite historical figures, Benjamin Franklin, once said, "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." This is the philosophy I take with my math classes. I expect students to get involved with their learning, actively participate, thereby making their learning more significant.I graduated from Upper St. Clair High School in 2002 and attended West Virginia Wesleyan College, where I graduated cum laude in 2006 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education. In 2010, I received my Master's degree in Instructional Leadership in Mathematics Education from Robert Morris University. In 2007, I returned to Upper St. Clair where I have taught Intro. to Calculus, Precalculus, Honors Algebra 2, Algebra 2, Honors Geometry, and Geometry at the high school, and Accelerated Geometry and Accelerated Algebra 1 at Ft. Couch Middle School. During the 2020-2021 school year, I am excited to be teaching College in High School Statistics, affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh.I am an avid sports fan, but baseball has always been my favorite and I was on the Upper St. Clair baseball coaching staff for 12 years. I have been a Pirates fan since the late 1980s, but I enjoy watching and discussing all levels of baseball. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, traveling and hiking, reading, and just watching TV.Now that you know a little bit about me, I'm looking forward to getting to know you and having a great year!XMultiCopyPaste
