• Birthdays

This year we will be celebrating birthdays monthly and will also celebrate summer birthdays -   each summer birthday student will celebrate on a special day in early June. We would love to have you visit your child on his or her special day. You can eat lunch with your child or visit our classroom to read his or her favorite book to the class. However, when planning to celebrate your child's birthday, please keep in mind our school's NO FOOD policy.  Food treats cannot be passed out for student birthdays.  There are no exceptions to this rule.

Given the severity of food allergies in our classroom and school building, please consider an alternative treat for your child's birthday celebration. Students in the past have chosen to bring in a birthday book to donate to the class. If your child wants to bring in a birthday book, please have them choose one of their favorite books.

Other inexpensive treats such as pencils, erasers, or stickers are also a nice alternative to food treats and can be passed out at any time in the classroom.

Thank you in advance for helping to make birthdays special in Room 103!
