• This is my fifth year at Eisenhower but my seventh year as an art teacher. My first two years of teaching were spent in the State College Area School district. During my first year, I taught at the high school level,teaching ceramics, sculpture and AP Art History.  My second year I moved to the elementary level and taught grades K-5. Along with teaching art, I am an assistant coach for the High School Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Team. 

     

    Facts About Mr. Cosgrove

    Birthplace: I was born and raised here in Upper St. Clair.

    Education: I graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Art Education. During that time, I spent a semester abroad in Florence,Italy at a school called Studio Arts Center International.  I earned my Masters in Art Education from Edinboro University. 

    Family: I have two sisters one older and one younger.

    Pets: Great Dane named Stella

    Hobbies: Cooking, skiing, traveling, making functional pottery, running, and climbing

    Travel: I have been to seven different countries (England,Spain, Greece, Italy, Finland, Morocco, France) I love to travel. One of my favorite places to travel to is Deer Isle, Maine, in particular, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts.
