Hello, and welcome to first grade, room 112!  My name is Mrs. Densmore and I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself. There were lots of things I wanted to be when I grew up, but once I taught horseback riding lessons as a teenager, I realized that I wanted to become a teacher. That was lots of fun, and I still ride today!  I decided to learn all about teaching at Kent State University in Ohio and later completed graduate courses in reading at Duquesne University.  I've now taught in four of the six USC schools as well as at a private school.

During this school year, I am looking forward to sharing many interesting and engaging learning experiences with my first graders.  It's my goal to work as a team with parents and resource teachers to help each child achieve his/her personal best in a safe and healthy classroom!
