One of the focus areas of the Community Foundation of Upper St. Clair is Health, and this year, we’ve decided to promote a different healthy habit every other month. To kick off this initiative, we want to get our community moving – literally! And one of the easiest ways to do that is to increase the number of steps we take each day."Step Out St. Clair" officially starts on Saturday, June 5 and continues until Saturday, August 7 (although we hope you’ll make this a life-long habit!). The event starts with Walker Awareness Day on June 5, where we remind drivers that Upper St. Clair has a lot of people enjoying the great outdoors, so stay off the cell phone, stay focused on your surroundings, and watch for pedestrians as you travel through the township this summer! To be part of "Step Out St. Clair", visit the Community Foundation website at cfusc.org. Log your steps, and return your log on August 8.

This summer, Steel City Codes is offering our annual cost-free summer camp for students in 4th - 8th grade in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area through which high school volunteers will be teaching computer science to students.
Unfortunately, out of an abundance of caution, we have once again decided to hold our summer camps virtually this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We will host three week-long sessions during the following dates: June 21 to June 25, July 12 to July 16, and August 2 to August 6. Each day will start around 9 AM and end at 1 PM (EST).
Students will learn throughout the week using our specially-designed curriculum and will complete a fun final project at the end of the week! Summer camps aren’t just sitting in front of a computer for 4 hours either—they’re also filled with plenty of breaks, games, and more!
If you’re interested in registering your child, please fill out this registration form.
For more information, feel free to check out our website at https://www.steelcitycodes.
