    This year is certain to be a year of incredible growth!   In our classroom, your child will be encouraged to     be inquirers and ask lots of good questions about the world around them.  They will learn to be open-minded as they learn to appreciate and accept the ideas of others.  They will show that they are caring  individuals as they work together and help one another along the way.  They will learn to be risk-takers as they encounter many brand-new experiences.  They will learn to be  reflective as they look back at what they have done and learned.  They will learn to use their skills as communicators as they share ideas with their peers and teacher.  They will learn to use their skills as thinkers to think things through before completing a task.  They will learn to make good decisions as they are encouraged and reminded to be principled.      They will show that they are knowledgeable by sharing their ideas with others.  Combined, they will become balanced learners!  It's going to be an exciting year of learning and growing together.
