P.E. Clothing Requirements:
Every gym day students should wear nonmarking tennis shoes and comfortable clothing suitable for athletic activities. Tennis shoes should have backs, and to prevent ankle injuries should not be platform style. Shoes should be securely laced or fit snugly so they
don't fall off when running or kicking a ball.
Gym Warm -ups:
During every class all levels warm up and stretch. Various warm ups are used: running, fitness games, locomotor movements, or stations. At the end of the warm up stage students monitor their heart rate by taking their pulse. Students then stretch individually or as a group depending on the activity. The warm up and stretching usually takes ten minutes.
